The Symposium on legal and social philosophy, organized by the Association for Legal and Social Philosophy and University of Ljubljana Faculty of Law, is intended to present the latest findings and works in progress in the fields of legal theory, sociology and philosophy of law.
The Symposium on legal and social philosophy, organized by the Association for Legal and Social Philosophy and University of Ljubljana Faculty of Law, is intended to present the latest findings and works in progress in the fields of legal theory, sociology and philosophy of law. The report offers a brief summary and commentary of conference papers presented by the participants of this year’s symposium. In their presentations, the participants touched on some of the key concepts of the legal system and raised a number of current legal and wider socio-political issues. Thus they have demonstrated the importance of legal theory, sociology and philosophy of law for understanding the legal system as well as for finding the answers to various challenges our society currently faces.
